Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage all international transactions and follow through orders of samples and products
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis, including but not limited to
- Going through conference catalogues to identify competitors and customers
- Managing and analyzing international trading or custom data to identify major markets/customers and competitor information
- Traveling to client or competitor sites to improve understanding of market
- Build segmented client profiles in detail, including engagement activities
- Develop international sales platforms (Alibaba, Amazon, etc.)
- Oversee all product certifications and test reports complying to standards from both in and outside of China (FDA, ISO, BGIA-IFA, etc.)
- Develop communication materials including
- Company introduction deck
- Handbooks, flyers, brochures, data sheets, etc.
- Website
- Press Releases
- Blog Posts
- Social media platforms (WeChat, Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
- Strategic international sales planning and execution
- Schedule and plan client visits for Global Marketing Director
- Travel to conferences and manage booths (including pre-and-post conference communications and promotions)
- Work closely with engineers to ensure accuracy of all documents sent to international clients, including proposals/quotations and product specifications
- Potentially build and lead a team for international business
- Keep up with marketing trends
- Translate English documents from Global Marketing Director, customers and industry materials for internal communications, if needed
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree or above from a reputable university in communications, international business, technical nonwoven or others
- At least four years of experience working in the international business sector of technical nonwoven industry
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Mandarin for business. Proficiency in a third language is preferred but not required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop or Illustrator (preferred but not required)
- Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google AdWords and Chinese B2B advertising platforms
- Outstanding communications skills
- Great attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate with people from both business and technical sides
- Flexibility to travel, relocate and work with respect to client’s time zones
- Eager to learn and take on challenges
